Every covered person has the right to information (Article 15 GDPR), the right to rectification (Article 16 GDPR), the right to deletion (Article 17 GDPR), the right to restriction of processing (Article 18 GDPR), and the right to object (Article 21 GDPR) and the right to data transfer (Article 20 GDPR) (rights of those affected). The restrictions in accordance with Sections 34 and 35 BDSG apply to the right to information and the right to deletion. In addition, there is a right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Article 77 GDPR in conjunction with Section 19 BDSG).
3. You can revoke your consent to the processing of personal data at any time. This also applies to the revocation of declarations of consent that were given to us before the EU General Data Protection Regulation came into force, i.e. before May 25, 2018. Please note that the revocation will only take effect in the future. Processing that took place before the revocation is not affected by the revocation.
4. Personal data is information about you. This includes, for example, information such as name, address, telephone number or email address, but also data such as your location, your IP address or bank details. We only collect and use personal data to the extent necessary for our services. This can be, for example, your name, telephone number and address as well as other information so that we can provide the desired services. This applies, for example, to requesting a callback, sending information material or answering individual questions by email.
5. For the purpose of needs-based design and continuous optimization of our pages, we use Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; hereinafter "Google"). In this context, pseudonymized user profiles are created and cookies (see section 4) are used. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website, such as
- browser type/version,
- operating system used,
- referrer URL (the previously visited page),
- host name of the accessing computer (IP address),
- time of the server request,
is transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The information is used to evaluate the use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage for the purposes of market research and needs-based design of these websites. This information may also be transferred to third parties if this is required by law or if third parties process this data on our behalf. Under no circumstances will your IP address be merged with other data held by Google. The IP addresses are anonymized so that an assignment is not possible (IP masking). You can prevent the installation of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case, not all functions of this website may be fully available. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) as well as the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing a browser add-on. You can find more information on data protection in connection with Google Analytics in the Google Analytics Help.
6. We use Strato web components on our pages. These are offered by Strato AG, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. When our pages load, components (e.g. fonts) are loaded from Strato AG's German servers. Your IP address is transmitted to Strato’s servers. In this context, Strato also finds out which page you are currently on. We do not have any further information about Strato's use of the transmitted data. If necessary, please consult Strato AG's data protection declaration.
7. The web server stores data when you visit our website for organizational and technical reasons:
- Names of pages accessed
- Name of the browser used
- if necessary, the screen resolution
- Name of your operating system and, if applicable, the version
- Date and time of access
- Referrer URL, which is the name of the page that referred to ours. This could be, for example, the search engine used to reach our site
- Names of downloaded files
- the external IP addresses of your router
We do not evaluate this technical data. The IP addresses are anonymized by the web server operator in the log files after 7 days.
8. We use cookies. These are small files that your browser creates automatically and that are stored on your device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit our site. Cookies do not cause any damage to your device and do not contain viruses, Trojans or other malware. The cookie stores information that arises in connection with the specific end device used. However, this does not mean that we will receive direct knowledge of your identity. On the one hand, the use of cookies serves to make the use of our offer more pleasant for you. So-called session cookies are used, for example, to recognize that you have already visited individual pages on the website. These are automatically deleted after you leave our site. In addition, temporary cookies are used to optimize user-friendliness. These are stored on your device for a specific period of time. If you visit the page again, it will automatically be recognized that you have already been with us and what entries and settings you have made so that you do not have to enter them again. The data processed by cookies is necessary for the purposes mentioned to protect our legitimate interests and those of third parties in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 Letter f of the GDPR. Most browsers accept cookies automatically. However, you can configure your browser so that no cookies are stored on your computer or that a message always appears before a new cookie is created. However, completely deactivating cookies may mean that you cannot use all of the functions of our website.
9. We process the personal data you provide online (e.g. via contact form or email) or otherwise (orally or in writing) exclusively for the purposes communicated to you. Personal data is collected and transmitted to state institutions and authorities entitled to receive information only within the framework of the relevant laws or if we are obliged to do so by a court decision. Our employees and the service companies we commission are obliged to maintain confidentiality and to comply with legal data protection regulations.
10. AAll data you enter on our pages (www.kanzlei-drboettner.de, www.verwaltungs-umweltrecht.com and www.actiomare.eu) is transmitted in encrypted form between the browser and web server so that it is protected from being viewed by third parties. Encryption technologies that correspond to the current state of the art are used.
11. We have set up an information page on linkedin. We would like to point out that you use these pages and their functions at your own risk. This applies in particular to the use of interactive functions (e.g. commenting, sharing, rating). How the platforms use the data from the visit for their own purposes, to what extent activities on the platform pages are assigned to individual users, how long the platform operators store this data and whether data from a visit by the platform operators is passed on to third parties not conclusively and clearly stated by the platform operators and is not known to us. We, as providers of the law firm Dr. Boettner pages and the platform operators do not collect or process any data from your use of this service. This also applies to personal links to Linkedin.
12. We reserve the right to change the security and data protection measures at any time. In these cases, we will also adapt the data protection information accordingly. Please therefore always note the current version of this data protection declaration.
